MYBA Charter Terms:
When chartering in Spain, the charter fee includes the hire and insurance of the yacht, crew food and wages, and the yacht’s laundry. All other expenses, including fuel for the main engine, generators, water sports equipment, all running costs, harbor fees, all food, soft and alcoholic drinks, communication costs, and local taxes, are additional.

Thus, an additional APA allowance calculated at 30-40% of the charter fee is required. A Spanish VAT is also due, usually 21% of the charter fee, but may vary depending on the charter area.

Caribbean Inclusive Charter Terms:
When chartering in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, the charter fee includes the services of a captain and crew, meals, standard ship’s bar, fuel, cruising taxes, permits, and all expenses related to running the vessel, and use of onboard sports equipment. The charter fee does not include (optional) crew gratuities, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcoholic consumption, off-yacht excursions, dockage, telephone, airport transfers, or similar expenses incurred by the Charterer.

Taxes, re-location fees, cruising permits, and licenses may be extra. Gratuities are customary at 15-20% of the charter fee, left at the discretion of the Charterer. A 4% Bahamas Tax is due on the Charter Fee. A small APA of 5% is recommended to cover the BVI cruising permits and any other additional expenses.
